This Hidden Beach has the ‘whitest, most pristine sand in New York”

If you’re from Long Island (which, if you’re reading this you probably are), you most likely will know Montauk. What you might not know is that the Montauk Peninsula is home to a very large State Park that borders the Atlantic Ocean as well as Gardiners Bay. This park is home to family fun camp sites, pristine beaches, Hiking Trails, Hunting Trails and mountain Bike Trails..

If you’ve ever visited, you most likely camped at the camp sites or hung out on the overlooks.

What you may not know, however, is that Hither Hills State Park (where the camping happens), was recently in the spotlight on the website “Only In Your State”.

According to the site Hither Hill’s 1,750+ acres “features a dreamy beach”, as well “many trails, [that will lead] visitors through dunes and picturesque scenery.”

With the weather warming up and camping season ramping up, it’d be the perfect time to consider making reservations with New York State to book a camp site!
